We are seeking a Quantitative Finance & Tokenomics Researcher to design, model, and refine the economic mechanisms that power our novel protocol. If you're passionate about algorithmic finance, incentive design, and crypto-economic systems, this role offers the opportunity to shape the economic foundation of a cutting-edge DeFi innovation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize tokenomics models that align incentives for investors, participants, and network stakeholders.
- Design pricing models for capital allocation mechanisms, leveraging principles from quantitative finance, game theory, and crypto-economic research.
- Analyze on-chain financial flows to simulate and predict market behaviors, ensuring long-term sustainability of Metron’s economic system.
- Implement risk assessment frameworks for market fluctuations, capital efficiency, and protocol resilience.
- Collaborate with AI and smart contract engineers to integrate economic models into the on-chain execution layer.
- Research and benchmark existing DeFi capital allocation and staking mechanisms to identify competitive advantages and opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in quantitative finance, economics, or financial engineering, preferably with experience in DeFi, algorithmic trading, or tokenomics.
- Experience with stochastic modeling, game theory, and mechanism design in financial markets or crypto-economic systems.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Julia for financial modeling and simulations.
- Familiarity with blockchain and smart contract mechanics (Ethereum, Layer 2s, or alternative L1s).
- Ability to work independently in an early-stage, high-velocity environment.
- Strong research mindset with the ability to translate academic insights into practical implementation.
